11. Sumba

Sumba is one of the jewelery found in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Sumba boasts hilltop villages with traditional thatched-roof houses and clustered around megalithic tombs.
The location of Sumba is in the middle between Komodo Island and Sumbawa. Sumba also faces directly with the Indian Ocean and is a paradise for surfers.

The beauty of Mount Rinjani was framed in the Rp. 10,000 denomination issued by Bank Indonesia in 1998. This statue of Jesus is on top of Buntu Burake Hill. This statue was built by replicating the style of the statue in Rio de Janeiro, Christ the Redeemer. Not only the statue of Jesus, you can also see the glass bridge that surrounds it. This 90 meter long glass bridge is called the longest in Indonesia.

c. Palawa village
In this village you can find the oldest traditional house in Sulawesi, the tongkonan. This traditional house is a historic village area and its beauty is still maintained. There are 11 tongkonan houses with traditional rice pounders in this village.

d. Limbang Water Pool
This water pool is a lake located two kilometers from Rantepao City. The scenery is very exotic, surrounded by rocky cliffs and green water offering an interesting view.
